The Miles Historical Village is a big talking point amongst all who have travelled this way before.  Here you literally step back into history when you explore the many buildings within this turn of the century village, you can even feel the spirits within the walls.  There are more than 20 buildings, with a new one each year. 

In addition to the wonderful village you will find  fascinating memorabilia of young soldiers and hard working women in the War Museum.

 You will see an amazing collection of shells - it is one of the largest privately owned collections in Australia.

 The Visitor Information Centre is located at the Historical Village.

Miles was originally named Dogwood Crossing and was established on a track blazed by the explorer, Ludwig Leichhardt in 1844.
